Design Transfer onto Sportswear

The sublimation process starts by preparing and printing your chosen design onto special transfer paper. Ensuring the correct sizing is vital, as the design must fit the sportswear fabric perfectly. Once printed, the transfer paper becomes the intermediary for transferring the design onto polyester sportswear fabric during the next step.

Heat Sublimation for Sportswear

Set the sublimation machine to the proper heat (403°F), pressure, and time (30–45 seconds). Carefully align the transfer paper with the sportswear fabric before starting the process. The high temperature converts the ink into gas, which penetrates the fabric’s fibers, creating vivid, long-lasting designs that become part of the sportswear material.

Finishing Sportswear Printing

Once the sublimation process is done, remove the transfer paper and sportswear fabric from the machine. Let the printed sportswear cool and dry completely. This step ensures the ink is fully absorbed, resulting in a durable, fade-resistant print that retains its vibrant look even after heavy use and multiple washes.
